Quilt Ministry

"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father" Colossians 3:17

Quilts made by this group are given to those in our church family and our extended family to show God's love in times of sickness or suffering,  in the celebration of  special events or in support of our military.

Knots tied on each quilt  represent a prayer that was lifted for recipient.  The quilt ministry is supported by monetary donations as well as donations of  fabric, talent and time.  This group meets on Tuesday evenings.  Interested persons should contact Wendy Robbins (919-542-7844) or Nancy Holland (910-890-0980).

Baptist Men

The purpose of the North Carolina Baptist Men (NCBM) is to help Christians share the love of Jesus. This  is done by praying,  giving of time and talents, going to places of need, and becoming actively involved whenever and wherever there is a need.  NCBM strive to make Christians aware of human needs and to provide opportunities to help meet them. This website is filled with ideas, resources and projects that will help you and your church go (Projects), learn (Missions Education, Training), give, and pray for missions.

WMU

WMU is a missions organization whose purpose is to teach about missions, pray for and give to support ;missions, get involvement in doing missions, and to lead people to develop a missions lifestyle. There are programs through WMU for all age groups. Primarily, in Lillington Baptist Church, we have an excellent curriculum for Mission Friends, who are preschool children; for GA's, who are girls in grades 1-6; for our Youth through the Youth program, and for our women, through Women on Mission. Because of the influence of WMU through the years, our church is a mission-minded group of believers.

Women on Mission

Two mission groups for our women.

1.  Our Missions Prayer Group meets in different homes Monday evening after the 4th Sunday of each month.

2.  A morning mission group meets the first Monday of each month, in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Our women are involved in prayer, study, giving and participating in on-going mission projects, with the purpose of developing a missions lifewstyle.

Honduras Mission Project

Join us as we take the Gospel across the globe. We will be serving the local church through construction and ministry. Those having an interest in joining the Honduras Mission, please contact the church office or speak with Darrell Salmon.

Angel Tree

Christmas is a time where the forgotten seem to be more forgotten. We will be partnering with our local crisis pregnancy centers to supply Christmas for these new born babies and their families that are often missed during this season. The Angel Tree display will be located in the breeze way between the buildings.
